Wrigley Mars Volunteers Help AGC Transition into Fall

23 Oct
Yesterday we were joined by 7 amazing volunteers from Wrigley Mars. These cheerful volunteers cleared up a storage room, worked on our student lap-tops and helped to prepare our summer gardens for winterization. These volunteers braved the weather to work outside, cleaned and labeled the storage room so teachers know what they have and can access it easier and updated the laptops so students can use them with minimal interruptions and problems.
We are thrilled to be able to say that this is the 3rd volunteer group that we have hosted from Wrigley Mars. One volunteer, Juanita, first came to our school two years ago to help build our picnic tables and she “has been thinking about AGC ever since.”  Juanita, who works in Wrigley’s Innovation Department, jumped on the opportunity to join AGC again and recruited  friends from the IT department to join her and lend their specific talents!
