AGC Goes to Conservation International!

AGC Goes to Conservation International!

With help from our friends and neighbors at Southwest Airlines, who generously support teacher and staff travel for conferences and professional development, Founder and Executive Director Sarah Elizabeth Ippel will be flying to Los Angeles to participate in the annual Conservation International board meeting.

She will join fellow conservationists from all over the world, including passionate Conservation International board member Harrison Ford.

Sarah Elizabeth was a founding member of Conservation International’s Generation Conservation and serves on the Generation Conservation board.  This program seeks to engage young leaders and empower them to be active advocates for conservation efforts.

Last summer, participants in AGC’s summer program guest lecture series had the unique opportunity to learn about conservation efforts first hand from Conservation International Oceanographer, Sebastian Troeng. Read about Dr. Troeng’s visit here.
