Join us this Saturday, December 1oth from 11am-3pm at AGC for A Green Celebration to explore the wonders of BEING GREEN this holiday season: gifting, breathing, electricity, and toys!
GIFTING – Upcycled Jean Art, Culinary Art, Jewelry Art, Homemade Cards, Eco-wrapping, and Mosaic Vases. All crafts will be led by artsy AGC teachers, families, and extended community members.
BREATHING – We welcome an AGC Parent and Chicago Conservation CorpsMember, to lead a workshop, Breathe Easier, on green cleaning and weatherizing the homespace for the winter months.
ELECTRICITY – We welcome a representative from Viridian Energy to educate the community about green electricity options. Bring a ComEd Bill and make the switch in person at the event!!
TOYS – Bring a toy wrapped in GOOS (i.e. good on one side) paper or newspaper and write the letter G(irl), B(oy), or E(veryone). Friends that bring a toy, will go home with reclaimed toy as a party favor!
