Second grade celebrated the end of their Unit ‘Imagination Nation’ with 6 plays of Reader’s Theater. All students were assigned a role in the plays and collaborated on collecting props, designing a back ground for the play, and costumes. After a good week of practicing, the students demonstrated their skills to parents and peers. This picture is the group of actors of the play “How Beetle Got Its Jeweled Coat” : Cora, Brianna, Angelina, Oscar, Cesar, Diego and Sarah did a fantastic job! They read the words clearly and with expression!
